On the left is the rear of the Boyton Arms with a sign reading ‘Boyton’s Arms, Richards for Value, Free House’ written on the building. New Church Road is on the left of the image, and the Grand Surrey canal is to the right. These houses were demolished to make way for the building of Burgess Park on the site.
