Description
View of front elevations of houses at 7-13 Highshore Road (previously Hanover Street), Peckham. A terrace of three, two-storey, brick built terraced houses. The houses have steps up to the front door which has half-round accent brickwork above similar to the ground floor windows. The houses have small front gardens behind low walls with wire net fencing. Number 7, nearest the camera, has a wire fence, a wrought iron gate, and a low hedge and there is a plastic bin with a white painted '7' in the garden. The ground floor of number 9 is almost completely obscured by a high, unkempt hedge and an upper sash window is open. Three parking meters are visible, the one nearest the camera has a plastic cover, and behind the street lamp a woman traffic warden with a notepad inspects one of the meters. A street lamp post with a litter bin attached and one-way sign is visible. A woman with a wheeled, wicker trolley is walking on the pavement. Numbers 7-11 were Grade II listed in 1972; List Entry Number: 1385601.
