158 has 'W. Ingle Tailor' on a sign above the door, and a large sign on the side of the building reading "Vote for Municipal Reform and Free Choice of Doctors". Under this are two posters advertising the play 'Everybody' at the New Cross Empire theatre which starred New Zealand actress May Beatty.
Number 156 is John Driver, Grocer, and has products displayed in the window, and adverts for products including Colmans Mustard, Sunlight Soap, Zebra Grate Polish and Rova Cocoa in the window and on the front of the building.
