View of Camberwell Green
Description
General view looking north-east from Camberwell Green, Southwark, towards the Foresters Arms public house. The pub was built in 1884 and demolished in the late 1970s to make way for new housing. The middle billboard is an advertisement for The Salvation Army. Outside the pub you can see a Ford Anglia and further along on the corner a woman is standing beside a car. In the park, a man is sitting on a bench, with another man walking past. Partially obscured by the trees is what looks like a council refuse truck and to the right is a delivery lorry.
