Title
Houses in Cork Street
Description
View of houses in Cork Street (later renamed Bantry Street and now called Houseman Way and Horsnell Close), looking north from Elmington Road, Camberwell. The terraced houses have small front gardens and wooden picket fences. On the corner of the street is a cast iron street lamp and two women with a child in a pram are visible. At 105 John Jarvis advertises his skills as an expert rat catcher and vermin destroyer. All of the buildings in this picture have since been demolished and redeveloped as residential flats.
