View of the Queen Elizabeth (Charrington) public house at 61 Asylum Road on the corner of Gervase Street, Peckham. There is a pub sign on a wooden post set in the pavement and a carved wooden figure attached high on the side wall of the building. There is a line of mature trees in the pavement in front of 63-79 Asylum Road. At 67 is Fielding's Newsagents and Tobacconists shop and at 75, with railings in front, is a school. The Queen Elizabeth public house has since been demolished and the site is now occupied by residential flats.
