View of The Barley Mow public house on the corner of Derbyshire Street and 15 Hague Street, Bethnal Green. At the date of the picture the landlord was Richard William Paul. To the right are numbers 17-23 Hague Street and to the left are numbers 50-76 Derbyshire Street. Numbers 50-52 are interesting in that they are set below the street level with area railings and front garden leading off to Hague Place and a terrace of houses. A woman waits resting on the pub wall. These buildings no longer exist and have been replaced by Weavers Field Playground.
