View of Little Britain
Description
This view of Little Britain, City of London, looking east, shows a nineteenth-century facade which largely still stands. Adjoining number 13 was orginally the house of John Bray and the site of Charles Wesley's conversion to Methodism in 1738. Later this became a trade address and in 1887 upholsterers were located here. A 'To Let' sign appears on this building, and opposite is a sign for Telex Ops - Specialist Bureau. Cars are parked along the street.
