Buildings in Little Britain
Description
Front elevations of 9-18 Little Britain, City of London, a part of a nineteenth-century facade which still stands. A sign for The White Horse public house can be seen above the parked car; this is the entrance to Cross Keys Square by 8 Little Britain. Adjoining number 13 was orginally the house of John Bray and the site of Charles Wesley's conversion to Methodism in 1738. Later this became a trade address and in 1887 upholsterers were located here.
