Billiter Buildings in Leadenhall Street
Description
Billiter Buildings at 49 Leadenhall Street, City of London, with its nineteenth-century facade and broken pediment above the door with sculpted lion. Various other signs on the building indicate its use. One along the side of the building says 'Safe Deposit', and a disused shop on the right has Atlas Staff Bureau written above it. On the left-hand side is a sign for H. Howes and Co. Ltd printers and stationers, where an iron-gate is across the entrance to this part of the building. Bills are posted next to this entrance, advertising 'Champagne Riverboat Party', 'Chamois Leather Boutique' and 'Pony Trekking Weekends'. A car drives past.
