Description
A view from the corner of Suffolk Lane at 1 Laurence Pountney Hill, City of London, with signage for the occupant Dixon and Co. (London) Ltd. around the building. Scaffolding is outside on Laurence Pountney Hill, with railings leading up the steps, and a van is parked on Suffolk Lane. The house was originally built by the carpenter and master builder Thomas Denning for merchants in 1703, in the Queen Anne style. The pair of houses at 1-2 Laurence Pountney Hill still survives. They were Grade II* listed in 1950; List Entry Number: 1359204.
