Title
Interior Lloyd's of London in Leadenhall Street
Description
This shows the main hall at Lloyd's of London at 12 Leadenhall Street, City of London, designed by Edwin Cooper in 1928 in neo-classical style. Ionic pilasters line the walls of the room which is part of the earlier building. Glass windows are on the upper floor with a skylight in the roof. Temporary panels along the corridor are thought to divide the office space. Parquet flooring leads up to the doorway. Only the facade now remains of Cooper's building.
