View of terraced houses at 20-32 Mape Street, Bethnal Green, looking north at the corner with Kelsey Street. Number 32 is nearest and number 20 at the corner of Sale Street with gable end wall of number 18 glimpsed. A cricket wicket of stumps with bails has been chalked on the wall for children to play cricket and defend the wicket of 32 Mape Street from determined opening bowlers bowling to trepid or fearless batsmen. This whole area is demolished and no longer exists and is a large recreation area named Weavers Fields.
