Two Bedford M series flatbed lorries are parked together whilst a child plays on a four wheel go-kart. On the left numbers27-53 Burnside Street run with number 27 nearest, at the end is number 66. Then opposite are numbers 18-42, number 18 is nearest. A workshop is seen at the end of the terraced houses of Burnside Street and Belhaven Street. On the far right are some of the even numbered houses of Belhaven Street. The V1 flying bomb seriously damaged houses in Antill Road, Burnside Street and Bellhaven Street, and destroyed the train line from Liverpool Street to Stratford. It killed 6 people and injured 42.
