Description
View of the front elevations of 2-4 Bonner Road, Tower Hamlets looking south, at the junction with Bishop's Way and Russia Lane. The Maid Marion Food Store 'Your Local Larder', with The News of the World, Benson and Hedges cigarettes and R.Whites Lemonade advertised for sale. Plastic milk bottle crates are stacked outside. Number 2 Bonner Road used to be the Prince of Wales public house. The chimney stack of Bethnal Green Hospital also seen is in the background. The only thing that doesn't still exist in this photograph is the chimney stack and probably the vehicles.
