Title
Rooftop view of Hickman's Folly
Description
A rooftop view of rows of houses in Hickman's Folly, Bermondsey, looking south over Wolseley Buildings. The buildings and Hickman's Folly no longer exist. The area has been redeveloped and replaced the Dickens Estate located to the south of Wolseley Street (formerly London Street), the earliest buildings of which were built in 1929. Peter Butler House now stands on the site of Wolseley Buildings. Hickman's Folly used to run east out of the junction of Dockhead and Parker's Row.
