Houses in Mantua Street
Description
Front elevations of terraced houses at 101-103 Mantua Street, Battersea, looking south. A cast iron lamp post is visible in front of number 101 on the left at the corner of Wye Street. The two-storey, brick built wide houses are set directly on to the pavement with arched tri-part sash windows on ground floor and recessed front doorways under arches with a cast iron boot scraper set into the wall. These buildings no longer exist and this is currently the location of Thames Christian College.
