Description
Front elevations of terraced houses at 46-56 Stewart's Road, Nine Elms, looking west. Nearest the camera at the far left is number 56 which was a dairy and at 58 out of sight was the Dewdrop [Inn] public house, since demolished in 2012. Number 54 has a large, recessed front door flanked by fluted, stone columns. The three-storey, brick built terrace numbered 46-52 has a rendered ground floor facade with a stone cornice above the ground floor and a bracketed brick cornice along the top of the terrace. These buildings no longer exist and have been replaced with commercial premises.
