Description
Front elevation of terraced houses at 26-27 Montefiore Street, Battersea, looking west. Originally the terrace continued to the right but was demolished and replaced with detached houses which were subsequently demolished and replaced with similar style terraced houses to the original ones. The two-storey, brick built houses have a bay window on both floors the houses are set back from the pavement behind an low wall and a white picket fence with hedge behind at one property. Number 27 has a chequerboard tiled path leading to the front entrance and both properties have a small, tiled porch. A cat sits on the window sill at number 26 and a wrought iron gate leans against the bay window of number 27. A concrete street lamp, with what looks like a bicycle tyre around the base, is visible. Partial view of 28 Montefiore Street on the left.
