Description
91-107 Battersea Bridge Road taken from the corner with Peveril Street, showing three and four-storey nineteenth century houses which were later demolished for the development of the Ethelburga Estate by the London County Council in the early 1960s. This image shows advertising posters on the side of the building on the corner with Peveril Street; these include advertisements for Kit-e-Kat cat food, Daz washing powder, the Conservative Party, Stork Margarine, Truman's Brewery, Harpic disinfectant, Nestle and Tide washing powder. A woman carrying bags can be seen on the corner pavement.
