Description
These two-storey terraced cottages at 28-33 Aegis Grove, Nine Elms, were built in the 1850s and demolished for the creation of the London County Council's Savona Estate in the early 1960s. The site became the location for an 11-storey block called Aegis House which has also since been demolished. Sleaford Street School can be seen in the distance - built in 1874 it became the John Milton School in 1951, closed in 2004 and has since been demolished, with Viridian Apartments built on the site 2007-2009.
