Description
With Battersea Park on the right, this shows no.63 Albert Bridge Road, named Holmwood, designed by John S. Quilter and build c.1885 for Robert Miller a master barge builder. Petworth Street can then just be seen, and then no.65 on the northern corner, also built in the 1880s, known as Hertford House, this was built for Walter William Young, a solicitor. Cars are parked along the road, and there is a lorry visible in the centre of the photograph.
