Description
View from the Stock Exchange, City of London. Photo taken on the roof, with the 26-storey tower on the left edge. There is a row of telephone boxes on the right. This complex was built by Trollope & Colls and was opened in 1972. The London Stock Exchange moved to new premises in Paternoster Square in 2004. In the centre of the photo are the upper storeys of 27-28 Throgmorton Street which housed offices above the Throgmorton Restaurant and the entrance to Drapers' Hall. Beyond this is the Angel Court Tower.
