Description
View towards the main entrance of 5-6 Threadneedle Street at its junction with Finch Lane, City of London. Built in Neo-Classical style as the head office for The City Bank in 1856. Two shields branded Midland Bank Limited can be seen on either side of the rounded corner doorway. Ornately carved stone swags and the crest of City Bank are above the lunette window over the entrance.
