Description
A view of the façade of the Bank of New South Wales, 32 Threadneedle Street, City of London. Built in 1919-1920 by Whinney, Hall & Blomfeld in a classical design of Portland Stone. The ground floor is decorated with wreaths between the windows. The first floor has stone balustrades below the windows and festooned masks above. The building was Grade II listed in 1972; listing number 1079130. On the right is the entrance to the Merchant Taylors´ livery hall. This dates to the late-seventeenth-century and is flanked by Corinthian columns, with the company´s coat of arms above.
