Description
A view looking west along Threadneedle Street from Bishopsgate, City of London. On the left is Lloyds Bank at number 39 Threadneedle Street on the corner with Bishopsgate. The building dates to the late-nineteenth- century and was designed by G.H. Hunt. Like most other buildings in the street it is of Classical-style, as evidenced by the columns on the façade. It was Grade II listed in 1977; listing number 1079131. The street is lined by banks on both sides, with the Bank Of England in the far distance.
