Title
Drapers' Hall Gardens in Throgmorton Avenue
Description
View facing north from within the Upper Garden of Drapers' Hall Gardens, City of London. A fountain, trees and a circular flower bed can be seen. The extensive gardens of Drapers' Hall had been reduced following the creation of Throgmorton Avenue (to the left in this photograph) in 1874 and this, the Upper Garden, was all that was left. The building to the left of the picture is no longer extant, nor is the two-storey building to the right.
