Description
View of Victoria Embankment, City of London, near Temple Avenue, taken from River Thames. It shows HMS President (1918), an anti-submarine Q-ship, in the foreground. The ship launched in 1918 and is moored permanently on the Thames. She was a Royal Navy Reserve Drill ship before being sold in 1982 to private owners and now serves as a conference and function venue as well as offices for several media companies.
