The railings of the churchyard of St Martin Orgar and the rounded corner of 28 Martin Lane are visible on the left, and numbers 1-6 including the The Olde Wine Shades at the far end at number 6, on the right. A passer-by is visible in the distance. Most buildings in Martin Lane have been demolished and replaced, except the Grade II listed number 6 which is one of the oldest pubs in London (listing number 1359197), the Grade II listed Rectory at number 29 (listing number 1064606), and numbers 27 and 28.
