Description
Front elevations of buildings on the west side of St Mary-at-Hill, City of London, looking north towards Eastcheap. Numbers 14-17 St Mary-at-Hill are in the foreground. Number 17 has a sign for R.W. Earkins & Co. Ltd. however the shutters of the shop are closed. Number 16 is disused and boarded up. The building at number 15 has been demolished and a corrugated iron fence stands in front of the vacant lot. Number 14 is also boarded up. Further up the street is the church of St Mary-at-Hill and the clock outside it can be clearly seen. In the background on the far side of Eastcheap is the church of St Margaret Pattens.
