Description
A view of the front of 40-43 Fleet Street, City of London, which was designed by Wylson and Long and completed in 1913. In this photograph, the building houses the Fleet Street branch of the Post Office as well as the offices of The Guardian, Manchester Evening News, and John Calpin Limited, paper merchants. Just visible on the right hand side is Hoare's bank at 37 Fleet Street. Just visible on the left hand side is Harry Fenton, men's clothes shop at 44 Fleet Street.
