Description
A view of the entrance hall of the Mansion House, City of London, which is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London. Designed by George Dance the Elder and built in 1739-53, it was Grade I listed in 1950; listing number 1064604. Originally a side entrance, the entrance from Walbrook is now the main entrance, added in 1846, designed by James Brunning. The benches date to 1811.
