Description
Front elevations of 136-141 Fenchurch Street, City of London. A view of Fenchurch Street taken from a building on the southern side, looking towards the junction with Cullum Street. Albert Baker & Co, tobacconists were at 136. Worrall & Robey Ltd, manufacturing stationers were on the ground floor of 137 and Sharpe & Penn, tailors were on the first floor. A branch of tailors Hector Powe was at 138. 140 was occupied by opticians Dollond & Aitchison, Beal & Son, chain cable merchants and the Russian & Scandinavian Translation Bureau. Numbers 141-142 were occupied by Maxim Ebeneezer & Co Ltd, tailors. All the buildings have been demolished.
