Description
Side view of the front elevation of 100-113 Chancery Lane, City of London. A double-decker bus is approaching the viewer. The Grade II listed, Gothic Revival Public Records Office building was designed by Sir James Pennethorne and built in 1851. In the 1990s the records were gradually moved to a new site located in Kew, to what is now The National Archives. The Chancery Lane building was acquired by the King's College London in 2001 and now houses its Maugham Library .
