Description
Front elevation of 100 -113 Chancery Lane, City of London. A general view showing a man walking in the street and phone booth in the corner. The present Grade II listed, Gothic Revival building was designed by Sir James Pennethorne and built in 1851. In the 1990s the records were gradually moved to The National Archives in Kew. The Chancery Lane building was acquired by the King's College London in 2001 and now houses its Maugham Library .
