View of corner buildings at number 24, left, 14 right, and 18, centre, of Austin Friars, City of London, looking west from a terrace in front of the Dutch Church. The building at number 14 is Grade II listed entry 1287078. The six-storey building at 18, opposite, features a tiled mansard roof with two storeys of attic rooms, with pediments, carved stone moulding or cornicing above the windows, and bas relief panels below the curved corner windows. Number 24 features a fascia of Portland stone in the style of late Gothic derivation. The late nineteenth-century buildings are occupied by legal, managerial, and brokerage firms, with the American National Bank of Chicago seen at number 24. Pedestrians can be seen criss-crossing the street. The surrounding streets in the area have since been pedestrianized.
