Description
View northeast across the Cripplegate bombsite, City of London, from roughly the junction of Aldersgate and the site of Edmund Place. Some features left to right include the rear elevations of 2-12 Barbican; 45 Barbican immediately behind the steamroller (now Central Point serviced offices at 45 Beech Street); the Cripplegate Institute in Golden Lane; Barclays Bank at 33 Barbican, with exterior staircase; rear view of buildings along the south side of Beech Street; and the ruined structure of 19-23 Jewin Crescent at the extreme right.
