View of Aintree Estate, Hammersmith. A public house is on the left which has signs for Watneys Ales, it was named the Wilton Arms, and is now called the Captain Cook. Housing from the estate can be seen, there is an Austin A 50 car and a Standard Atlas van parked on the road, and a boy riding his bike. The photograph is taken looking south from Dawes Road which runs across Aintree Street.
