Depiction of the commemoration diploma awarded to the Lord Mayor and Corporation of London at the Colonial and Indian Exhibition, 1886, by order of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII). It shows colonial figures, including an Indian woman and a figure representing Great Britain seated on a throne flanked by two lions and with a shield resting on it.
