Nineteen coats of arms of the twenty two Fire Judges who served under The Fire of London Disputes Act 1666, copied from the frames of their Guildhall portraits put up in 1670. They remained at Guildhall until bombing during World War II. Only two those of Sir Matthew Hale and Sir Hugh Wyndham remain in the Guildhall Art Gallery, others were destroyed or dispersed, mainly to the Inner Temple, Lincoln's Inn and the Royal Courts of justice.
