View of Buckingham House and St James's Park in the winter. In the foreground a tent has been erected and a group of figures gather around a nearby fire. In the centre a figure with skates appears to be on the verge of losing his balance while other figures can be seen skating in the park. Buckingham House was reconstructed as Buckingham Palace in the 1820s.
