Shops include an auto sound system specialist, a tobacconist with a branch of Barclays Bank visible on the opposite side of the road. Vehicles parked on the wide pavement include a Volkswagen Kombi T2 van seen with pedestrians walking past. Other vehicles include a Triumph 2500, a Sunblest bread Leyland FG lorry (parked next to a Post Office Telephones maintenance tent at the corner with Northumberland Park), Ford Transit and Cortina models and many others. Boundary Court block of flats is visible in the distance at the continuation of High Road into Fore Street.
