Description
View of the main staircase from the ground-floor within Haringey's Environmental Health Services offices at 639 High Road, Tottenham, looking towards the front of the building. The neo-Jacobean building was built in 1901, originally, as the headquarters of the Tottenham District Light, Heat and Power Company. The building is Grade II listed, listing number 1079205, and is now known as the Trampery Enterprise Centre containing numerous business spaces. The wide timber staircase has a ornate carved newel post with square urn finial, heavy Roman spindles and an ogee profile dado rail.
