View of the showroom of Robert Chidley Limited Rootes Group car dealership at 660 High Road, Tottenham, looking east. The adjacent terrace of shops and offices with flats above at 662 to 670 are Grade II listed, listing numbers 1358832, 1188865, 1079239 and 1079240, respectively. Shops include branches of Moores of Tottenham, mopeds at 662 (with a M Leigh, loan service above) and at 668, together with a stationers and office furnishers further along . The dealership has since been demolished and replaced by a mixed-use development of shops and flats named Tom Dove Place. Moores windows advertise mopeds capable of 125 miles per gallon for £19 deposit with free tax and insurance. The branch further along is a dealer for Honda generators. A Hillman Super Imp can be seen in the showroom where the window has an advertisement for a 10% hire purchase rate part exchange and their reputation promising a 'good deal'.
