Description
View of the Tottenham War Memorial on West Green, Tottenham, looking north along Tottenham High Road with the Town Hall Approach Road forking to the left towards Wood Green and Hornsey. The commemorative stone obelisk was unveiled in 1922 and is engraved with 438 names of 'sons who fell in the Great War'. The memorial is Grade II listed, listing number 1061398. Vehicles seen entering the one way system includes Rover P5 and P6 models, Ford Escort van and Cortina Mk 1 models together with, what appears to be, a microcar of the era and an oncoming number 279 AEC Routemaster London bus.
