The early Edwardian period neo-classical building is Grade II listed, listing number 1079238. It includes the offices of the Pearl Assurance company on the upper floors. The view shows ongoing roadworks, with sheet piling projecting from a barricaded excavation, with traffic diverted either side. Commuters can be seen waiting at the bus stop on the left, now for the College of North East London, formerly, for The Home and Hospital for Jewish Incurables and Tottenham Technical college, built on the site of Grove House club and Tottenham Lager Beer Brewery and Ice Factory. The buildings surrounding the bank have mostly been demolished and replaced by a Tesco superstore with the delivery entrance and access to the customer car park replacing the single-storey warehouse building on the right. Vehicles visible in the foreground include a Morris Oxford Series V, a Commer FC van, a Pickfords removal lorry, a Ford Thames Trader, Ford Cortina Mark II and Zephyr Mark IV models, along with other cars, vans and trucks heading towards Tottenham Green.
