Description
View of Charlton Cottage at 581 High Road, Tottenham, looking west across the front cottage garden. The three-storey with basement building and single-storey extension at the front together with the south boundary wall, are Grade II listed, listing numbers 172206 and 1358856 respectively. A man can be seen on a ladder painting the first-floor window frames. The parapet wall and the brickwork behind the rainwater downpipe appears to have been re-pointed. The dwelling was formerly the home of eminent doctors, Holt and Hall, of the area, and remains in use serving the community as Charlton House Medical Centre for the National Health Service.
