Box Cottage, also known as The Red House, Sudbrook Lane, is a late seventeenth or early eighteenth-century house in the Petersham conservation area of Richmond-upon-Thames. It was Grade II* listed in 1950 as Box Cottage The Red House, listing number 1252876. This three-quarter view shows its west frontage, the ground floor partly obscured by a hedge although the pediment to the door case is visible, its north flanking wall showing the full height of one of the chimney breasts, part of the property's east wing and coach house, and a section of the open front gate with its name visible on a small plate. The coach house has since been converted to residential use and the garage doors replaced by windows.
