Title
Industrial archaeology site in Highgate
Description
View of an industrial archaeology site at 64A High Street, Highgate, taken from the rear and facing east. The excavation reveals a suspected kiln, encircled by brick walls and other structures, as well as the dug-out flooring of a former house that may have once stood on the site. A wheelbarrow sits on the construction site alongside debris and old furniture that might have belonged to the previous dwelling. Behind the trees in the background, two cars, a parking lot, and the skyline of part of Highgate can be seen in the distance.
