Description
View of the front of 28 Wood Lane, Highgate Wood, Haringey. This is a decorative property: there is a central section of two storeys with a paved area in front, at the front of which are cast iron columns that support a sloping roof, protecting the front door. Above this the upper storey has a bust in a niche between two windows. The two wings are both of one storey, although the tops of basement windows can be seen: each has two windows separated by an architectural feature, on the left a blank wall with an apex, on the right a turret. Five tall Jacobean-style chimneys, although the presentation leads one to suspect that the house is not of that antiquity. Attractive front garden.
